Eugene Allen "Gene" Hackman (né le 30 janvier 1930) est un acteur et romancier américain à la retraite qui, au cours d'une carrière qui s'est étalée sur cinq décennies, a été nominé pour cinq Oscars, dont deux pour le meilleur acteur de The French Connection.
De plus, Hackman a également remporté trois Golden Globes et deux BAFTA.
Il est devenu célèbre pour la première fois en 1967 avec sa performance en tant que Buck Barrow dans Bonnie and Clyde.
